Dundee known as the "City of Discovery", in honour of Robert Falcon Scott's famous Antarctic exploration vessel “RSS Discovery” built in Dundee and is now berthed in the city's harbour - where it has become a popular tourist attraction.

Dundee is world-famous for medical innovation and significant scientific research, which takes place there and supported by the city's Ninewells hospital and Universities.
