The Olympia Leisure Centre has swimming, gym and sauna facilities for all the family. Take a visit to Verdant Works, a textile heritage centre which was awarded Europe's Top Industrial Museum in 1999. Captain Scott's famous Antarctic expedition ship R.R.S. Discovery is docked adjacent to the Discovery Point Visitor Centre. Both of these attractions provide an interesting and informative day out for individuals and families, locals and tourists.
